The SC500 STREETCATCHER is the lowest blower scoop in the world that bolts directly to 6/8/10/1214-71 Superchargers like The Blower Shop, Hampton Blowers, Littlefield Blowers, Mooneyham Blowers, Blower Drive Service, Weiand, Dyers Blowers, Diamond Blowers, Wrightway Blowers, Deans Blowers, and Supercharger USA Blowers. It has working butterflies, authentic style barrel valve, encloses a Double Pumper Carburetor inside with a unique filter adapter . Designed to enclose a 4150 series Squarebore single Holley, QFT (Quick fuel Technology) or Demon Double Pumper the SC500 STREETCATCHER comes complete with - Scoop Body assembly in Round or
Barndoor Butterflies.
With an adapter plate that will bolt to any Blower with a Standard GMC 6-71 style entry bolt pattern it comes with an air filter and filter adapter, carb butterfly linkage, anodized dummy barrel valve and a linkage that operates the butterflies from the standard double pumper universal side linkage on most Holley QFT or Demon Carburetors along with stainless steel mounting hardware . The Scoop comes with a Hi-Perf paper filter element but will accept a K&N air filter element and XRP/Earls type performance plumbing type fittings or standard chrome aftermarket dual feeder fuel line . The SC500 can also be ordered with an optional dummy hardline/spacer setup for that final touch (NOTE: You cannot use a standard type dual feeder with the hardline option).
JUST LIKE ENDERLE'S FAMOUS BIRDCATCHER
Because the STREETCATCHER'S have a fully CNC machined front you get to choose between the 'Classic Round' or 'Barndoor' style Butterflies. Quality stainless steel shafts, anodized butterflies and an authentic looking dummy Barrel Valve assembly clearly make the STREETCATCHER the obvious choice for the serious Rodder or Racer.
Like a real injector, the STREETCATCHER operates the butterflies through a dummy Barrel Valve and linkage, the SC500 STREETCATCHER comes complete with an In-Line Link that connects to the Carburetor and can be ordered with or without the authentic Style Dummy hardlines used on a real Enderle injector.
The scoop is designed to accept a K&N Part No E-3527 Filter, the scoop is shipped with a Hi Perf Paper Filter Elements mainly because of the cost of the K&N filter elements here in New Zealand. Just order them from your local K&N dealer and they will slip right in when the scoop arrives.

Engine Performance With the SC500 STREETCATCHER
SMALL BLOCKS: Generally speaking the SC500 STREETCATCHER can be used on street and street/strip type 6/8-71 engines running blower speeds up to say 1 to 1pushing a maximum of say 10lbs to12lbs or so of boost or even more and have proven to easily push a medium size car like a Camaro into the low 11's. Street machines are no problem and 650 to 1050 Double Pumpers have been used inside the SC500.
For incredibly stout street/strip performance, cruising, or show cars forget the 'Bench Racers' who say you must run Dual Carbs on a Blown Motor, they are completely wrong, will have had no experience with a single Carbureted Blown Motor, will be just repeating what they have heard and I have never had one customer come back and say they can't get this setup to work.
BIG BLOCKS: Street and Street/Strip Big Blocks up to 540 cubic inch are fine. pushing 5 to 8lbs boost with a single 750 to1050 cfm Holley, QFT (Quick Fuel Technology) or Demon Double Pumpers and 6/8/10-71 blower speeds up to 1 to 1 or more.
