4500 DOMINATOR SCOOP |
STREETCATCHER
is now available to mount directly to Single 7 14" Neck 4500 HOLLEY
DOMINATOR, QFX or KING DEMON Carburetors for Normally Aspirated applications
or where a Top Mount 4500 Butterfly Scoop is wanted for a Single carb
Supercharger Application.
The
Scoop comes with mounting hardware but without the K&N Air
Filter Element which is part no E3530, a filter Lid is included
with the kit so you just need to purchse your K&N Air Filter
Element locally and your set to go.
Based on Enderles famous 'Birdcatcher' injector, the SC510D STREETCATCHER narrows
at the back like a real Injector and is designed for Serious Racers/Rodders running
a Single 4500 Holley Dominators, Quick Fuel Technology's QFX or the equally impressive
King Demon Carburetor. |

JUST
LIKE ENDERLE'S FAMOUS BIRDCATCHER |
Because
the STREETCATCHER'S have a fully CNC machined front you get to choose
between the
'Classic Round' or 'Barndoor' style Butterflies. Quality stainless steel
shafts, anodized butterflies and an authentic looking dummy barrel valve
assembly clearly make the STREETCATCHER the obvious choice for the serious
Rodder or Racer.
Like a real injector, the STREETCATCHER operates the butterflies through a dummy
barrel valve and linkage, the SC510D STREETCATCHER comes complete with the stainless
link and rod ends to connect it to your carburetor side linkage.
The scoop is designed to accept the K&N Part No E-3530 Filter, the scoop
is shipped with a filter lid and mounting hardware however no filter element
is included as shipped, mainly because of the cost of the filter elements here
in New Zealand. Just order one from your local K&N dealer and it will slip
right in when the scoop arrives. |

MOUNTING
AND DOMINATOR CARB PAD ANGLE |
Some
OEM Dominator manifolds have an angled carburetor pad, ie the carburetor
is facing nose down slightly in relation to the
manifold/engine combo looking side on.
But because of the intended Performance only application most Dominator
manifolds have a 'level carburetor pad' which when looking
side on keeps the carburetor and hence the scoop level with the engine
looking
side on.
The SC510D STREETCATCHER adapter as supplied and unless otherwise specified
comes standard with an angle on the mounting neck of the base adapter,
this will compensate for the manifold angle and the scoop when mounted
will sit
level with the engine looking side on.
LEVEL CARB PAD CONSIDERATIONS
If your manifold happens to have a level carburetor pad and you want
the scoop to look level side on with the engine and don't want the
scoop to angle up any more than necessary, which will be the case if
you have a level carb Pad, then let us know when you order and we will
mill the manifold level when we prepare you order (no charge). |
