The
STREETCATCHER is available to mount directly to the Popular mid
sized Holley 250
Pro-Street, Weiand 256 Powercharger,
and the larger 6-71 Style B&M 420 MegaBlower with the 8 Bolt recessed
(some are not recessed) adapter
Mounting.
It'll also
fit
'The Blower
Shop's heavy duty Billet 250 Big Block Chevy
mid sized Blower kit with the 6 Bolt std GMC pattern also, this model is
actually the standard SC500 STREETCATCHER.
Designed to enclose 4150 Style Squarebore Holley, QFT (Quick Fuel Technology)
or Demon Double Pumper, the SC500-250/256/420 STREETCATCHER comes complete
with Scoop Body Assembly, 250/420 or 256 adapter plate, air filter,
air filter adapter, carb throttle linkage, instructions and all mounting
hardware.
Remember the Holley Weiand 250/256/420 Series Blowers were formerly Manufactured
by B&M and Weiand but of course are completely under Holley Manufacture
now although the 420 is no longer offered and the Weiand name is still
used. Also on some 250 Powercharger's the Carburetor adapter plate is recessed
into
the
top
of
the Blower about
5/16", this is no problem but it is important to state if you have
an existing 'recessed carb adapter plate' style Blower when ordering for
your
particular application. This adapter plate mounting is completely different
to the standard 6 bolt GMC pattern. Remember you can order the SC520-250/420
STREETCATCHER with the popular 'Dummy Hardline' Setup to give that 'REAL'
'Blown and Injected' look. |
Because
the STREETCATCHER'S have a fully CNC machined front you get to choose
between the
'Classic Round' or 'Barndoor' style Butterflies. Quality stainless steel
shafts, anodized butterflies and an authentic looking dummy barrel valve
assembly and Propriety polishing procedure clearly make the STREETCATCHER
the obvious choice for the serious Rodder or Racer.
Like a real injector, the STREETCATCHER operates the butterflies through a
dummy barrel valve and linkage, the SC500-250/420 STREETCATCHER comes complete
with the stainless
link and rod ends to connect it to your carburetor side linkage. |
