The Tarrif rate (Another name for the Import duty rate) into the U.S from New Zealand has been 2.5% for decades. Normally on our product's this has produced import duties of around 60.00usd, this is an internal country charge to you as an importer. A portion of the 60.00 is made up of the 2.5% import duty, and the rest is local charges/fee's for DHL to collect the duty.

Since Apr 2 2025 the U.S. has increased import duty another 10%

Steve has relayed to us (and I have double checked this by calling him) that he paid 182.29usd for all duty and clearance charges. so this for some reason works out to be around slightly over 10.5% total and amounts to around 122.00usd more than the old normal approx 60.00 charge.
